In 2014, I, Lourdes Chamorro visited the O'Briens in Green Valley, Arizona. I was impressed by the number of weevils they collected with their deceivingly simple beating sheet. I wanted to learn how their beating sheet was made. Lois O'Brien shared with me instructions on how to sew and assemble a beating sheet similar to the one she and Charlie used. These are her handwritten instructions.
